What this shows

The symbols iec header changes the wall symbols without changing the room geometry: sockets become the semicircle forms used on European installation drawings, switches use dot-and-lever marks, and gfci-outlet is labelled as RCD-protected. The same fixture … on <side> at N% syntax keeps every wall-mounted fitting attached to its wall as rooms are resized.

Standards context

IEC 60617 supplies the electrical symbol convention, while NEN 1010 governs Dutch low-voltage installation practice; comparable installatietekening conventions are common in Belgium and Germany.
