Duplex hydraulic test stand P&ID
Process and instrumentation diagram for duty/standby hydraulic pumps, pressure filtration, bypass control, cooling, a test manifold, and the return loop.
For the process or test engineer
Why this is a useful stress case
The equipment list alone is misleading: declaration order can make the duty and standby pumps look like a serial train. The connection topology says something different—one reservoir splits into two pump/check-valve lanes, those lanes merge at the pressure filter, and two backward paths return to the reservoir.
The renderer ranks equipment from those process connections. Parallel equipment shares a process stage but receives separate lanes; merge points get explicit junction dots; recycle and bypass edges use channels below the forward process path. The same syntax remains readable to an AI agent because no coordinates or layout-only aliases are required.
